Seasonal Flavors Are Back

Cooking With the Seasons
One of the most exciting parts of running a kitchen is watching ingredients evolve throughout the year. Every season brings new flavors, textures, and inspiration. At Sonder & Sprout, we embrace those shifts by creating rotating sandwiches and specials that highlight what’s freshest at the moment.
Seasonal cooking keeps the menu creative while allowing us to work with ingredients at their peak.
Spring and Summer Favorites
During warmer months, our menu becomes lighter, brighter, and more herb-forward. You’ll often find sandwiches layered with crisp greens, citrus vinaigrettes, fresh mozzarella, basil spreads, and seasonal vegetables.
These flavors feel refreshing, balanced, and perfect for outdoor lunches and longer afternoons.
Richer Comfort for Cooler Months
As temperatures drop, our kitchen naturally shifts toward deeper, heartier flavors. Roasted vegetables, slow-cooked proteins, smoky sauces, and warm spices begin appearing throughout the menu.
There’s something incredibly satisfying about a toasted sandwich filled with melted cheese and rich seasonal ingredients on a cold day.
Always Experimenting
Seasonal menus also give our team the opportunity to stay creative. We’re constantly testing new combinations, experimenting with sauces, and finding ways to reinvent classic comfort foods.
Some specials become customer favorites that eventually earn a permanent place on the menu. Others exist only briefly, making each season feel unique and worth revisiting.
